Child
Arrangements

Conflict involving Children is emotional and traumatic. Resolving conflict involving your children and arrangements for them is challenging and stressful. Our Family Law Consultants assist clients in matters involving children and we aim to reduce stress and upset by strategic management of cases based upon your unique circumstances whilst also seeking to work in the best interests of the child by minimising conflict.

We work with clients in resolving disputes between parents, grandparents and in cases where there has been or currently is involvement from Social Services.

Unique, Retained Capped Fee Structure

Child Arrangements matters are notoriously expensive to pursue. We manage children cases on our unique retained, capped fee structure. This allows clients to secure our strategic case management skills and to benefit from our unrivalled support and guidance for a regular affordable monthly retainer. The overall cost will also be capped meaning that the fee paid to us will never go above the agreed cap. This means  clients are always in control and aware of the maximum cost involved in their case.

Child Arrangements by Consent

There are occasions when parents can amicably agree to a fair way of maintaining contact, communication and time with their child/children once both parties have gone their separate ways.

In order to ensure that the child or children involved are happy with their new living arrangements and that there is a reasonably agreed contact and financial contribution plan in place, we can apply to the Court for a Consent Order. This order protects either party should one parent decide to deviate from the Consent Order without applying to the Court to vary the Order.

Child Arrangements Proceedings

Child Arrangements Proceedings are sadly fairly common. Contentious Divorce Proceedings tend to lead onto Child Arrangements Proceedings, which are extremely costly and can be very distressing for children involved. Whilst these proceedings should be avoided where possible, we acknowledge that sometimes the Court needs to step in and assist parents into coming to the best conclusion for the children involved.

We act as an intermediary between our Client and the Court. We draft all applications and communicate directly with your ex partner or their legal representative.

We work with extremely experienced Counsel, who will handle your case and represent you in Court should you wish to be represented during any Court Hearings.

Whatever your circumstances and story, speak to us and see how we can help.
